Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for leading large-scale process re-engineering projects from start to finish. This role demands strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage complex projects. Your technical and process management ability will support you in driving end to end transformation within the METRO GSC center in India. Your ability to manage different targets, projects and teams will add to the success of this role and team. You will be responsible to manage the process transformation team based out of Metro GSC IN.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for driving the delivery of efficiency projects in the different verticals using the agile delivery methodology and the DTS framework.
  • You will be involved in helping organization optimize their functions, improve operational efficiency, and drive strategic decision-making using technology.
  • Experience in drawing out project plans and driving execution taking into account the scope, managing resources capacities, costs, and develop business case for the process transformation/ improvement programs.
  • Oversees the in-depth analysis of existing workflows. Utilizes flowcharts and process maps to define existing processes and identify areas needing improvement using the process improvement methodologies such as Lean or six sigma
  • Develop and drive the framework to drive Process re-engineering within the organization
  • Engage and liaise with appropriate internal and external stakeholders to drive the necessary outcomes for successful delivery and where necessary facilitate the resolution of issues and design issues
  • To be able to get into the details of the requirements which are included in the scope for delivery and review the artefacts developed by the business analysts and ensure these are to quality
  • Be part of the innovation lab and support the personal responsible to drive innovation.
    Drive project working group sessions and other project governance forums with right level of updates, detail and go-to-green plans along with rationale and practical solutions to deliver projects to committed timelines and scope .
  • Drive projects with the RPA, Web solutions and the Data and BI teams.
  • Lead and coordinate project staff and resources to ensure project milestones are met and quality standards are upheld.
  • Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
  • Communicate proactively the status, issues, and risks involved in the project to all stakeholders.
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting, ensuring projects are completed within the approved budget.
  • Identify and minimize project risks throughout its life cycle and use change management techniques to drive the change successfully.
  • Create a mindset of continuous improvement within the operations team.
  • Conduct post-project evaluation and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
  • Bring in expertise to drive innovation and good practices from outside in.
     

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years experience working on a Business Process Re-engineering, Process Architecture, Process mining (Preferable to have exposure to ARIS, MS Visio, Signavio, Celonis, Uipath)
  • Preferably MBA
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification is required
  • Well versed with Agile methodology .
  • Strong knowledge and experience of RPA (Robotic process automation) specially with the platform Uipath, Web solutions, GCP.  (will work very closely with the teams)
  • Must have worked on Proposals and contributed to business development work
  • Must have managed large teams and support the growth of new offering and capability
  • At least delivered 3-4 Process transformation program 
  • Strong experience in finance process improvement projects, finance transformation, target operating model design.
  • Basic understanding or working knowledge of some of the leading finance systems such as SAP, Oracle, etc.
  • Good understanding of end-to-end processes, especially Finance, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay would be an added advantage.
  • Working knowledge of change management and performance evaluation processes.
