Job Description

About Role...

A Leadership profile responsible for leading and delivering impactful message strategy projects for our customers. They will oversee a team, ensuring the final framework aligns with business objectives, meets project timelines, and delivers exceptional results. The Communications Manager will understand and analyze the key insights with a brand lens and ownership and have the ability to deliver on brand strategies, execute marketing and communication frameworks, and lead client analysis.
Applicants should be comfortable with formulating integrated communication and/or brand strategy; research around customers (business units, service company etc.), markets and competition; be able to derive insights from internal METRO research; articulate the communication and/or brand strategy, values, messaging and go-to-market plans. Be the owner of all the customer-related deliverables to drive the objectives of the mandate through communication and or brand strategy solutions.
The ideal candidate would have a passion for brand narratives and a drive to provide exceptional result-oriented solutions. We’re looking for a dedicated and result-centric Communications Manager to lead the message strategy portfolio for customers within the METRO-verse.

Job Responsibilities -
Message Strategy Development:
● Collaborate with internal teams and customers (internal METRO business units/service companies) to understand their brand, target audience, and messaging needs.
● Lead the development of comprehensive message strategy frameworks that drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversion.

Project Leadership:
● Conduct in-depth audience research and analysis to inform message development.
● Ensure that messaging aligns with overall brand strategy and business objectives.
● Lead message strategy projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with client goals and objectives.
● Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery.
● Oversee team performance, providing guidance, direction, and feedback.
● Make critical decisions and resolve issues that arise during project execution.

Team Management:
● Lead and mentor a team of message strategists, providing guidance and support.
● Delegate tasks effectively and manage workload distribution.
● Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.

Client Relationship Management:
● Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted consultant.
● Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular updates and addressing their needs.
● Proactively identify client opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.


Qualifications

● Master's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
● 8+ years of experience in message strategy, integrated MarCom and brand development, or a related field
● Experience of working in the Corporate Communications team of a Shared Service Center will be an added advantage
