Job Description

As a Senior Marketing Automation Manager, you will take the lead in managing and optimizing complex marketing automation campaigns across multiple countries, ensuring alignment with global business goals. You will act as a strategic partner, collaborating closely with senior leadership, country teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive high-impact marketing initiatives. This role requires advanced expertise in AJO (Adobe Journey Optimizer), AEP (Adobe Experience Platform), and other marketing automation platforms, with a deep understanding of customer lifecycle management, with the responsibility to innovate, optimize processes, and oversee campaign performance at a global scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of multi-region, large-scale marketing automation campaigns, aligning with organizational goals.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact between global and regional teams to ensure seamless campaign development, execution, and reporting.
  • Continuously optimize automation processes to enhance engagement, conversion, and overall campaign effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Content, Data Analytics, IT) to ensure that marketing automation workflows are optimized and effectively integrated with other systems.
  • Oversee segmentation and journey orchestration to ensure personalized and effective messaging across multiple touchpoints.
  • Develop and implement performance metrics, conduct in-depth analysis, and deliver actionable insights to improve campaigns.
  • Take ownership of troubleshooting, advanced problem-solving, and escalating issues related to automation workflows.
  • Drive the evolution of marketing automation strategies by researching industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, providing leadership and expertise to elevate team performance.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in marketing automation, campaign management, and customer journey orchestration.
  • MBA (Master of Business Administration) – good to have.
  • Expert proficiency in AJO (Adobe Journey Optimizer) and AEP (Adobe Experience Platform), as well as other leading marketing automation platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of email marketing, lead nurturing, and customer segmentation strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects across multiple regions or countries.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate findings into actionable strategies.
  • Proven track record of driving successful marketing automation initiatives in a global or multi-country environment.
  • Advanced project management skills and experience in process optimization.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
