Metro operates in a further 10 countries with its Food Service Distribution (FSD) business and it is thus active in a total of 34 countries.

MGSC, location wise is present in Pune (India), Düsseldorf (Germany) and Szczecin (Poland). We provide IT & Business operations support to 31 countries, speak 24+ languages and process over 18,000 transactions a day. Key

responsibilities/

accountabilities

1. Should assist in preparation of Forecasts and Budgets
2. Should be expert in deep dive Variance analysis.
3. Coordination with business stakeholders to deliver results and reports.
4. Preparation of defined monthly reports- Monthly reporting deck, Process level dash boards, vertical level P&L, Top 10 Expense report
5. Preparation of other management reports.
6. Prepare unit split report monthly to have unit wise Expenses.
7. Ad-Hoc Analysis and reporting- Cost-Benefit analysis with existing/new vendors, Capex template
8. Benchmarking on various cost control parameters.
9. Cost Centre and profit center management- Maintenance of cost Centre structure, creation of new cost centers and updating of cost center details
10. Act as a finance validation POC for different projects - Evaluating efficiency gains, conducting efficiency analysis of different verticals in the company.
11. Business partnering with various functions and help them understand and achieve cost control & efficiencies.
12. Transformation projects-Cost optimization, Automation, efficiency and other adhoc projects
13. Should have IGAAP knowledge and IFRS knowledge.
14. Should challenge the status quo and transform the way of working.

Managerial Requirements

Good communication skills

Should be able to lead and support the direct reportees

Prompt and proactive - Should be prompt and proactive on communication and coordination with internal/external stakeholders

Good analytical skills with eye for detail

Good knowledge of India accounting – IGAAP, knowledge of IFRS would be an added advantage

Good knowledge of local tax structures – Corporate tax, TDS,, GST, Transfer pricing,VAT

SAP –Must have working experience of at least 2-3 year of accounting in SAP

CA with 2-3 years of experience or MBA with 3-4 years of experience in corporate controlling & reporting domain preferably of an MNC in service sector

Good command over MS excel, word, power-point

Good to have SAP knowledge but not mandatory
