MGSC, location wise is present in Pune (India), Düsseldorf (Germany) and Szczecin (Poland). Job Description

What does this role entail ..

  • Our Corporate Communication leader will define, design, develop & lead the execution of end to end organization wide communication topics.
  • Will develop and implement internal and external communication strategies for the organization to ensure that unified, consistent, and positive messages define and promote the corporate identity, mission and clear goals.
  • Leverage data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of your communication campaigns and adjust your strategy as needed. Use metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and engagement levels to track the impact of your communication efforts.
  • Develop crisis communication plans that can be used in the event of a crisis or unexpected event. Work with key stakeholders to identify potential risks and develop messaging that can be used to communicate effectively with employees, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute employee engagement initiatives that foster a sense of community and belonging among employees. Use internal communications channels such as company intranets and employee newsletters to highlight employee accomplishments and share news about the company's progress.

STRATEGIC AREAS –

  • Collaborate with METRO GSC Leaders to proactively identify communication and engagement opportunities, making recommendations and developing programs, linking back to the business strategy.
  • Partner with the People and Culture team to strengthen the key focus areas of communication related to organization culture, employer value proposition (internal & external) and to attract the right talent.
  • Create and execute communication strategy highlighting the GSC value proposition there by strengthening our footprint as a solution partner of choice internally within metro.
  • Build a consistent narrative and messaging to align with the broader company strategy and connect to business priorities, design, and execute engaging, meaningful, and personalized employee communication campaigns.
  • Oversee all internal and external communications for METRO GSC India, ensuring its message is consistent and engaging.
  • Arrive at the right messaging for the right platform for the different internal/external communications channels available, including the organization's website, social media etc.
  • Work together with global Corporate Comms Teams at METRO & other METRO GSC locations to develop a robust comms ecosystem and to partner with global comms teams to bring flagship engagement programs.
  • Represent the company in a variety of settings, always promoting the company in the best possible way to increase the organization's reach (ex. getting featured in industry magazines and forums like CXO/CIO/NASSCOM.
     

EXECUTE –

  • End to end execution of communication projects/plans/blueprints right from drafting proposals for internal/external audiences to presenting/promoting it to different stakeholders including the Leadership team.
  • Organize leadership townhalls, internal virtual/on-ground events, and other large-format leadership events for building a connected organization.
  • Writing/editing the key internal communication messages (includes leadership messages, engaging creative content, and internal presentations) and assist executive leadership in developing presentations, speeches, and other important corporate messages.
  • Oversee the workflow and work assignments of the communications team end to end from concept to execution by ensuring effective collaboration among team members and consistent, quality work.
  • Manage METRO GSC’s communication platforms like website, social media handles (ex. LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook etc.), intranet pages/communities to ensure clarity of information, provide ease of navigation, and make certain that all content is current and relevant.
  • Being able to manage customer projects of similar nature.


MONITOR –

  • Monitor METRO GSC Communication platforms by analyzin, reviewing, and reporting on the effectiveness of campaigns to maximize results.
  • Track effective benchmarks (best practices) for measuring the impact of internal/external communication efforts.
  • Stay up to date with the latest news at the METRO corporate level to stay in sync with all the communication strategies be used.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a corporate communications team (preferred for a large business or organization) or with Advertising Agency / Public Relations experience.
  • A postgraduate/ MBA in marketing / MA in journalism/ Mass comm is preferred.
  • Strategic mindset and ability to navigate a large matrix and complex organization.
  • Should have Presentation & Stakeholder Management Skills who can sound off ideas in the most effective way to the Leadership team and other stakeholders.
  • Should have Project Management skills – Proactivity, self motivation and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge and understanding of communications practices, tools, and techniques in social media.
  • Hands-on experience of working with MS Office and new-age internal communication tools. Ex – Teams, SharePoint etc and rapid conceptualisation tools like Canva etc.
