Metro Global Solution Center (MGSC) is internal solution partner for METRO, a €29.8 Billion international wholesaler with operations in 31 countries through 661 stores & a team of 93,000 people globally. Metro operates in a further 10 countries with its Food Service Distribution (FSD) business and it is thus active in a total of 34 countries.

MGSC, location wise is present in Pune (India), Düsseldorf (Germany) and Szczecin (Poland). We provide IT & Business operations support to 31 countries, speak 24+ languages and process over 18,000 transactions a day. Technical Skills:

1. Business Intelligence (BI):

1. Strong Project delivery and hands on experience in MicroStrategy.

2. Experience in designing wireframes and dashboards that address relevant business problems.

3. Hands on experience in Microsoft Excel to create tables with formula, creating pivots and charts, creating Macros, etc.

2. DB Tools

1. Good to know SQL or similar platform

2. Skill on Google Big Query is added advantage.

3. Experience in basic ETL process to handle ad-hoc data analysis.

Non-Technical Skills:

1. The candidate must have strong communication skills to explain analysis/insights of complex business problems.

2. Ability to think and speak strategically, provide recommendations internally as well as externally.

3. Develop / Recommend solutions / suggestions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.

2. 3 years of experience as a BI Developer or in a similar role.

3. Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.

4. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders
